For my senior year, I was moved into the Assistant Shop Manager position at the University of Central Arkansas. While I still performed tasks expected of a costume assistant, I also managed the shop and its employees while our manager was attending meetings.

Independent Research Project
October 2020

I am the designer and creator of the project Transparent Women: Exploring Outdated Aesthetics on the Modern Woman's Body. For this project, I constructed five period garments from between 1850 and 1920 in order to examine how women's fashion developed in relation to the Women's Suffrage Movement.

This project was in conjunction with the University of Central Arkansas' Women's Suffrage Centennial Celebration in October 2020. I have received a Student Undergraduate Research Fellowship from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education for this project.

Each semester the Theatre Program awards a limited amount of funding through departmental scholarships. These scholarships vary in amount and are awarded to students who have the potential to contribute leadership to our production program by filling staff positions as performers, technicians, or production assistants.

Spring 2019

I received this award for my costume design of UCA Theatre's production of Medea.
